I have not had a better day than today.
Today was my birthday and I am getting really old, I turned 21 today and had an amazing day.
Went to school like usually and after that I met up with my teammates and worked out. Even though it was my birthday I still wanted to spend my time with my American family on the court and work out and I can say that today’s work out was one of the toughest work outs I have been through, but it was worth the effort because I love the fam and no matter what we always stick together. After the tough work out, my roommate called me and said that she got us a table at the best Greek restaurant. She took me there and we had some really good food and when we got home she surprised me with the most awesome gift. She got me the basketball shoes that I have been talking about so much. These shoes are so nice I feel like I don’t want to wear them.
Today I realized that we all grow out from our family and start to create our own families and I feel so blessed that I have so many wonderful people around me.
My teammates, friends and coaches are the best people around me.
I want to thank my coaches: Sean, John and Chris for being there for me whenever I needed them. Coach Chris I just don’t see him as a coach, I see him as a father and Sean & John, you guys are like the older brothers I never had. I guess I am just trying to say thank you for everything and thank you for letting me
be a part of this family.
