Yesterday night me and my friend did out of nowhere decide to get up early today and go to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. Since we leave on Thursday we don’t have so much time left and according to the weather channels, today the weather was supposed to be terrible. We did not have any other option than go no matter the weather. So when we woke up early today we saw how much it was raining. We could either stay home and forget Six Flags or don’t mind the weather and hope for the best.
We took the chance and luckily as soon as we got out of New York City and got closer to Six Flags the weather started to get brighter and brighter. It got so warm that we had to put our sweaters in the lockers.
The best part with going to Six Flags today was that first of all less people goes on a Monday because people are working and second of all many believed that it was going to rain today and did not want to risk to go. So me and my friend went on the biggest rides for unlimited times without staying in line. Instead of getting of the ride when it was done we were told that we could stay and go again. I think we broke some record on the ride “NITRO”. We were on that 10 times in a row hahah.
Some other stuff that we did was playing arcades and games where we could win stuff. I tried out the 3 point shootout because no ONE can shoot better 3 pointers than me, NO ONE!! Well I won the competition, no big surprise.
Things to think about before going there
Bring your own food, because a burger and some fries with soda will cost almost $20 (and people say that New York is expensive L)
Get the buss from Port Authority that goes express to Six Flags and that cost $ 60 including admission and around trip.
Bring a bottle so you can refill with water
Put sun block on, you don’t want to look like a tomato by the end of the day
This place is amazing, I really do love it and today it was really the best day to go there.
