Now when we had so great weather here in Gothenburg the last couple of weeks, I would like to recommend one of my favorite places to be, even thou the weather isn't that good right now but it will be better again towards the weekend and now you know where to go.
Askim's beach is one of my favorite places to be in Gothenburg during the summer. They have a great beach, and a bit of it is shallow so it's a good place for families to go with the kids.
Something else that I love about Askim's beach is that they have different things to do, besides being on the beach or just in the water. They have a café where they sell ice cream, sandwiches, and Swedish candy and cinnamon buns.
(By the way, this is how real cinnamon buns look, they have decorative sugar on them not frosting)
They also have miniature golf there, and it's really good and they have really fun, interesting and different courses. The price is 50SEK and that is not expensive at all.
Besides the miniature golf they have a lot of places to barbeque and it's allowed to do so there too, if you feel like you want to exercise a little after all that barbeque, then they have a beach volleyball court there next to the beach. And there's no better way to get an nice and even tan than playing volleyball in the sun.
Askim's beach is a really nice place for everyone, families, couples, teenagers, they have something for everyone, and you can spend a whole day there without being bored and that is what I love with this place, because I'm that person that get's bored really easy and I need things to do, I just can lay on the beach for a whole day so this is why I love this place. If you don't live here in Gothenburg, but feel like you want to come visit this city after all my post about Gothenburg, Askim's beach also have a camping. With a lot of spots for caravans and tents.
