Wow, what a game it was between USA & Australia. Australia just came out from a lucky win against Russia where the point guard Mills hit a last minute 3 point shot to win the game. But yesterday night they were facing US and the Aus team "almost" had it.
In half time, the score was 60 for US and 59 for Aus something that everyone was shocked over to see. Two years ago when US played Aus the score was 117-73 and US did not even play with the dream team but yesterday they did.
Until halftime, the Aus team was struggling and fighting with US to stay in the game but what everyone has to understand is that US has stars on their bench which means, when the stars on the court get tired than the stars from the bench can come out and do their work, which makes it so much tougher for other teams to play against, because it seems like the US team never has a negative slope on their run, they are just rising and rising. Teams might play against US for the first 2 quarters but after that when the stamina kicks in then the game is over.
Aus fell in the last moments against the US Dream team with 119-86. But the highlights of the game was definitely Kobe Bryant’s four 3 pointers in 1 min, he was releasing the Black Mamba on Australia!
Tomorrow is the rematch between Argentina and US. You guys remember what did happen the last game, let see if Argentina did learn anything from it. Can’t wait until tomorrow!
