Have you ever heard the word disco gym? No it’s not a gym where everyone dresses like the 70’s. Disco gym is what people call when someone is about to go to the gym and pump up their three muscles before going out and party.
Muscles such as biceps, shoulders and chest is the muscle groups that these people work on, because these are the parts that will show off most in front of people. It would be very rare to see someone who is practicing disco gym do leg exercises because they are probably wearing pants at the club and it will not be something to show off.
You can spot someone who is practicing disco gym from a miles distance. First they do look really tanned, second they usually are really buffed and third you can see that they want to do everything fast and get out of the gym.
I think it is so funny to watch these people because apparently they do not understand that the muscles only will be pumped for about 20 min after the workout, so unless the club is next door to the gym than this is useless. Another thing that is bad with disco gym is that it doesn’t have any consistency in it and it will probably ruin the week schedule of your workout. So please stay away from disco gym and go regular instead.
