Gaining Muscles the Right Way


Almost everyone wants to change the way their body looks, some people wants to lose weight and get slim and some wants to gain weight too look more muscular. I am going to give you guys the guideline on how to build muscles in the best way. Before you guys start to workout remember that there are no shortcuts and if you cheat, than you are fooling yourself. 

First thing you should do is to get yourself a notebook to write in it every day to see your progress and in that notebook you should put in a realistic goal that you think will be possible to succeed in 6 months or 12 months. Do not write stupid things such as gaining 20 lb of muscles in 12 months because that is impossible. 

There are 3 things that can either break your goal or make it happen:

1.       Diet- Most important thing, many believes that you can eat whatever you want but if you work out a lot than you will be ok. Well sorry to say it but that is not true, you have to know what you are eating and what the nutrition’s are. For someone who is trying to gain muscle mass it is important to eat a lot of protein and carbs. Protein will feed the broken muscle tissues and carbs will be restored as energy which will give you "power" to workout at the gym.  


2.       Sleep- As a healthy adult it is important to sleep at least 7-8 hours per day so you can rest your body from the entire workout, because we don’t build our muscles during the workout, we are just breaking them down and only during the healing process will we be gaining muscle mass and this happens best during our sleep. 


3.       Workout- Last but not least the right workout. Always push yourself to take more weights to do extra reps or extra sets because those extra few reps is the only thing that will get you closer to your success. Don’t skip sets, don’t fool yourself, after all  you are competing with yourself.
