Last season Miami won the playoffs and maybe it was not a surprise due to their star players, but there were many other teams that were favorites last year, one was bulls and they would had probably went all the way if Rose wouldn’t got injured and the second favorite team was New York Knicks. With Carmelo, Amar’e, Chandler, Jr smith and Bibby people would believe that Knicks was the team to take it all but unfortunately their biggest missing part was leadership and control over the team. Something that a great point guard could fill out.
This is why New York Knicks traded Jason Kidd to their team from Dallas. Kidd won the championship with Dallas 2 years ago and he was one of the great reasons for them to succeed. He and Chandler played together during the Championship so they know how to play together and hopefully Kidd can be like Nash for Amar’e when they were playing in Suns.
I have no doubt about Knicks being better this year and possible go pretty far in the play offs. I am pretty excited about watching the NBA this year with so many great players playing together.
