Today was the annual MTV European music awards held in Amsterdam, this is always fun to watch and read about, because these events are really something special, they are filled with celebrities, fashion and most importantly music! And the best thing is that something special always happens at these events, I mean who has forgotten about the Britney and Madonna kiss, or Kanye West when he interrupted Taylor Swift during her speech?
On stage this year was amazing artists like Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Miley Cyrus, LMFAO and many others.

I have to say that I think that it’s amazing that Eminem has been gone for so long, and still manage to get two prices in this year’s EMA’s, this shows that he really is good at what he does, and I also think that Eminem shows that he do his music because he loves it and not just for the sake of making money, sometimes I feel like some of the music today is just about making money, and having as much hits as possible, but with him it feel really real.
Another thing with this list that makes me happy is that Avicii got a price, not only because I’m a fan, but also because I’m Swedish, and I hope that you all know by know that Avicii is Swedish. In an interview he talks about his music, and how he is going a new way with his new type of music, on his first album True he has been very influenced with folk music. The single Wake Me Up (one of the songs on the album True) took the world with storm this summer and it’s on the top list in many countries around the world.
But the thing that has been spoken about most after the EMA’s is the former Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, lately she has made a real change to get rid of the Disney Channel stamp, and some say that she is losing it, and other say that she should be able to change and evolve as an artist. In today’s event Miley went up on stage to receive her price for best video, and when she did that, she took up a cigarette, or joint and lid up on stage, some say it was real, and some say it’s fake and that she just did that because she want more publicity. Maybe it was a joke because they were in Amsterdam, since marijuana is legal there. What do you think, is Miley going too far?
