In Sweden there are some traditions that has to be done during the year. Some are weird and some are obvious.
During the summer we have four things that everyone has to do:
1. BBQ in the great park called “Slottskogen”
2. Swimming in the cold Swedish water ( it is freezing cold)
3. Playing Mini Golf ( Swedish people takes this serious, it’s a matter of life or death)
4. Going to a Disco Bowling.
The first three things sounds obvious, even though you might think what kind of people would swim in cold water, believe me I have been saying that since I was a kid but no one listen to me. But the last thing “Disco Bowling” was the weirdest thing I ever tried on. I don’t know if this is big in the states but apparently it is big here in Sweden.
The whole thing with Disco Bowling is that people dress nice like if they were in a bar and they have the club music on and the epilepsy light that they were using made me miss every shoot. Yes it was the epilepsy light that made me miss!
So if you are visiting Sweden during the summer and someone asks you to go a Disco Bowling, be well prepared.
