Today had to be one of the warmest day I have ever experienced in New York, but it was sunny and not that humid.
I woke up early so I could catch the whole day. I had to work out and observe the Memorial Day.
On 89st and Riverside there is a monument called Soldiers and Sailors monument and it was created to honor the fallen soldiers of America. So today the Mayor held a speech at the monument and after that he was heeding to Queens to walk with the parade.
For people that has not been here on Memorial Day. This is a day to honor the soldiers that have died in America and this is one of the few days where schools and banks have closed. There are a lot of parades in New York in honor of the soldiers and it is almost impossible to miss it.
