Today was one of the best Sundays ever! I’m one of those who hate Sundays and want just the day to pass by fast so the new week can start. But today me and my friend went to the heart of Astoria where the Greek people had an amazing festival. On 30 st & 30 av in Astoria, there are living many Greek people and one thing I learned about Greeks today is their food culture. They were serving Souvlaki (meat or chicken BBQ over coal, Greek style), Sweet corn, Greek ice cream and etc… I almost die of all the food I had.
I love my neighborhood because of the diversit. Every stop on the N or R train feels like a new country and you can’t help but to enjoying it.
