On Sunday Knicks made history. After losing for 11 years in playoffs they now won their first game.
Mello was working really hard and he showed that he wanted to win badly. He had an amazing 41 points and he made an important 3 pointer with 54 seconds left to send Knicks to a win.
Unfortunately Baron Davids dislocated his right knee and it looked terrible but the team survived.Stoudemire had injured his left hand during the playoffs but he came back on Sunday and he ended up with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
For the Heat, James had 27, Wade hade 22 and Bosh had 17 points.
"It was a great feeling, especially to win here in the Garden. The fans were tremendous tonight despite all the stuff that's been going on with our team, with Amar'e hand and Shump's injury and Baron's injury. It's a great feeling."
