Today I had my one and only class, International Business and after that I had to run like always to the subway to catch the 2 or 3 train to Fulton st so I could attend the Bridge program.
In today’s session we talked with the students about ways to gather information and after that we had them do their workshop like always.
Our question to the students was, “In which way do you gather information”. Some answered that they like to take notes because then they will remember it better and the others would take a photo of the information and review it at home.
I believe that taking own notes are the best because in some way it turns out to key words in the mind and will be remembered better in the future. But sometimes when a professor goes through a lot on the board and you have to memorize every word, then a photo will be a better choice.
I think it is really good to have these questions for the students now before attending college so they can be well prepared.
