Today became a big lesson for me. My friends and I were supposed to go and hit the gym and afterwards go to the movies to watch “Think like a man”. What a surprised we had when we came to the movie theater. All the tickets were sold out and people were standing in the line for hours to watch this movie.
I would never in my whole life stand and wait for a movie for hours, matter fact I can’t even stand to stay in a line to buy clothes, but that’s just me.
I guess this is a New York culture, where standing in lines for hours is a common thing. In Sweden when you go to movies you buy your ticket either online or at the theater and you will have a seat number and you don’t have to stand in a line for the movie. If the movie starts in a couple of hours, you can go to a café or a restaurant while you are waiting instead of standing in a line.
