They say offense wins games but defense wins championships. Yesterday was my second practice with the team and believe it or not but the practice was really tough. Important stuff, but really tough and it did not help me at all to have some pizza slices before practice. I learned a lesson yesterday; do never have pizza before working out with Berkley College.
Defense is not about the right technique it is about heart and how much you want it. That’s why our coach got us so tired and after that made us do defense drills to see which of the players want it badly enough.
Good practice yesterday but my legs hurt a little bit; hopefully the pain will be over for tomorrow.
