Living in New York makes it difficult to bring food with you to school or work but luckily for us “New Yorkers” restaurants, cafés and fast foods are surrounding us but the question is “what to eat”?
To me having the right food is really important since I workout consistently I need to have the right nutrition for a right price. So lately I have been buying food out of the halal carts, some people are skeptical towards halal food because of the way it looks. Well some places have some really disgusting food and you can just see it by looking at the meat. But some places have really good food for a good price. Right now the best halal cart is on 53st & 6av and they are called “The Halal Guys”. The line for their carts is sometimes a block or two. That’s how good their food is. They give you chicken, lamb, salad, rice and unlimited sauce for only $6.

Now you might say that rice and sauce are not so good for someone who is eating healthy and that is someway true. What you can do is to substitute the rice for salad and skip the white sauce and then you will have a plate of salad and protein for only $6
