Six months of hard work is about to come to a test this Tuesday. We are having our first scrimmage against Queens Community College. Playing our first scrimmage against QCC has become more like a tradition. Since my freshman year I can only remember that we always had scrimmage against QCC and we always win. The purpose of this game is not to win but to see how everyone connects with each other and also to try out new stuff. The game doesn’t count on the paper so many coaches try out things they think would be risky to do in a real game. This game is also a huge opportunity for players to show if they deserve playing during the season. Most coaches let everyone play to get their shoot, some get more some get less, but I know from experience that whatever you get out there make sure to make it count.
