Reason to take a week of from practice



It’s that time of the year, off-season baby! For most people this is the time to relax and go on vacation but for me since Monday last week has been tough early and late night workouts. The reason why I am going so hard now is because first of all we lost the nationals and coming back next years  as a senior it is partial my responsibility to take us all the way and the second reason behind it is that I am always hungry and I want to and will develop all the time. 

Now it is true that you should take at least one week of from practice and gym so your body can heal and you can prepare for the new season but I did not take a break because next week I will go on vacation for a week so that is when I am going to rest, hopefully they don’t have basketball courts and weight rooms in Mexico because if I see people play ball in Mexico I will let them try some of the Knights basketball. 

Today in the morning I was doing some shooting drills to maintain my shooting ability and in the afternoon I lifted weights, worked mostly on legs and triceps because these muscle groups are the most important ones for shooting from distance which is my specialty.
