Before taking an online class I thought it was going to be simple, probably just a few GHAs, a Midterm, and Final. Oh boy if I were wrong, just because it’s online doesn’t it make it simpler or less work, and you have to be very disciplined and follow up your work.
Almost every online class has at least 1 GHA each week, 1 Discussion Board post, Answering at least 3 posts on Discussion board, Midterm, Final and probably some term projects. It’s a lot to do, but at the same time you can do a lot of your homework one day and have off rest of the week - If you work hard and stay focused.
Online classes are the perfect choice for students who work, don’t have time to go get to a physical location, or have responsibilities at home making it difficult to take traditional classes.
So to anyone who wants to take online class, take a real look at the negatives and the positives of taking courses online. You should think about how these will impact you personal before you make a decision.
