It’s not something new that I love tattoos and today I got a new one and I can say that the pain was crazy. The tattoo is on left side of my chest and it is a tattoo dedicated to my mother since it is her birthday on Sunday. It says in Italian "Mom you are power, you are safety ..... you are everything to me. Your love is food to my soul. You are only one thing to me: You are My GOD "
I already have tattoos of my sisters names on the inside of my arms which was also very painful but honestly out of all my tattoos this new one hurt most.
It is so typical me to act like I’m not in a pain but after 3 hours my tattoo guy started to put the shading on my collar bone and that pain was nasty. It felt like he was using a chainsaw to cut me open.
Some people take crèmes to relief the pain before they do the tattoo but I believe that if you are going to do a tattoo you should be able to take the pain that is the whole point with it. In the old days, young boys had tattoos to prove that they are becoming a man, imagine if they had something to relief their pain.
This place I went to is located in the Bronx and the guy is really good at his job and the price is amazing too, if you are getting tatted up you should definitely make that trip to the Bronx. I was supposed to get this same thing in Manhattan for $600 but at The Flip Side Studio I paid only $200 including the ointment and tip.
