Today has been a lovely day with the sun shining and the warm weather. For me it’s hard to find the motivation to want to go to school on days like this because I would rather be out enjoying the sun, rather than in a classroom, but we Berkeley College students have one great advantage with our midtown location – Bryant Park.
Like I said, I believe that one of the best things about Berkeley College (besides the great staff) is the location. Everything is really close and within walking distance, and one great example of that is l Bryant Park. For those of you who don’t know where Berkeley College is located, I can tell you that Bryant Park basically is right outside our school. So on these sunny days we students don’t have to worry about missing out on the sun. Just take your school books, a couple of friends, and head out to that amazing green grass and enjoy.
If you don’t have much time between your classes, you can always have your lunch there, either in Bryant Park’s own restaurant, or just pick something up on your way there. There are endless of places to eat around our school, everything from Mc Donald’s, Chipotle, the Halal carts or the tons of deli’s or restaurants; just pick something that you’re in the mood for and head to Bryant Park and enjoy the beautiful New York summer. Even though I love New York no matter the weather, there is something special about a warm, sunny New York day.
