Swedish Candy in New York

Candy candy and some more candy. It's nothing new about Americans loving candy but the question is have you guys tried the real stuff? I am talking about Swedish candy. The best candy in the world comes from Sweden and I can tell you that it is addictive; you can’t just try one and then say no. 

These candies are sold in lb and not per item as we might see here in US and therefor you can have many different flavors in your bag.

 Now you might think well that’s candy in Sweden and we live in US, don’t you worry if you live in New York then you are lucky because there is a Swedish candy store called “socker bit” which translates from the Swedish “sugar cube”. 

Not only are the Swedish candy delicious but also it do not contain any Trans-fat, the color are natural and they are also free from GMO ingredients.

You can find this store only at  89 Christopher st but be careful, the candy is super addictive.  

 

Roosevelt Island

Now around Christmas times, it can all be very hectic. So I would like to share my favorite relaxing spot with you guys.

That’s Roosevelt Island, it’s a little island located in the river between Manhattan and Queens. And it’s really the coziest little place in New York just to go away and think, and be away from the city rush.

It has an air tram that goes over the water and in line with the queens bridge, that’s located on 60^th street and 2^nd avenue. The trip to Roosevelt Island is worth the trip alone, trust me.
It’s a little island and you could walk around it without any problem, it’s really nice, and you feel like you left New York when you are there, which can be nice sometimes. They have a few selections of cafes, but my recommendation would be to bring your own little picnic, that makes the whole trip even more special and fun.

I would definitely recommend Roosevelt Island to everybody, tourists and New Yorkers
