President's list ceremony

I am happy to say that  Berkeley students with great grades are getting acknowledged by an extraordinary ceremony . Yesterday was the first time that Berkeley arranged a ceremony for students with a 4.0 GPA.
They gave us diplomas stating that we were on the president's list and each person was called up to shake the dean’s hand and get the diploma. 

I believe that this idea was really good and I hope it will be a tradition 

 

D Rose's comeback?

The playoffs are getting better and better for every game. Today Bulls played Miami in Chicago for game 3. First game in the series Bulls won and the second Miami and today it was Miami again. 
The game was close but Miami made some important 3 pointers in the end to secure the win. 

Now what I was waiting for tonight was to see Derrick Rose stepping out of his expensive suit and play. Rumors had it that D Rose was supposed to play in game 3 which was today, did we see him? Yes on the bench in his nice grey Armani suit. Since last year’s injury, D rose has been rehabbing his knee and stayed away from playing games.

A few weeks ago one of D Rose’s fans were supposedly filing a lawsuit against D rose. The fan was claiming that D Rose was not injured anymore and he could play and therefor he should play. I don’t know if this is a good thing or just insane pr trick but if I had my fans filing lawsuits against me for not playing basketball then I would laugh so much at it.

1 May Demonstration In New York

Today had to be the most difficult day to get to school. All trains went slow, the NYPD checked my bag 100 times and walking from Bryant Park to Berkeley took me over 30 min. Why this happened was because of the demonstration today, which I had forgotten about.

I really thought that the 1 May demonstrations were only big in Europe because of the Socialist parties but after what I witness today I take back everything I said about the European demonstrations.

In general people in Europe demonstrate against the government because of their salary, taxes etc…. but today I saw people walking around with signs saying legalize marijuana and they were smoking at the same time. To me that gives a signal that people don’t even take these demonstrations serious and they want the government to consider their opinions?
