The President Is Here!

So today the president Barack Obama landed in Stockholm, Sweden and is currently here as I’m writing this. I think it’s amazing that the president of United States of America is here in my little country, and also that this is the second time a president is visiting us.

As I mentioned last week, Obama is here to mostly talk about climate issues, but that wasn’t really the case today. The question that was dominating the day was the Syria issue; I understand that it’s an important question, but I would have loved to see the day go as it was planned, because our climate is a really important topic, and involves everyone on this planet.

Tomorrow the president is scheduled to fly to Russia, but it has been a little but unsure about how that is going so I’m hoping that he will fly on time, and that everything goes as it should. 

Freezing Practice

Finally after 10 days I had my first practice and O boy how good that felt, but unfortunately the heat at BMCC are not working so it was ice cold at the practice. The coaches were talking about our offense and defense so that means we were standing still for a long time freezing our butts off.  Even though it was really cold I was happy to be reunited with my family and to see that everyone survived without a problem from the storm.

And hey I almost forgot, today is the election and I believe that Obama is going to win and I wish I could vote but I am not allowed to do it since I am not an American but for you my American friends get out and vote for OBAMA!!!

5 Point Plan ( Presidential Debate)

 

The first Presidential Debate was without a doubt Romney’s but what happen yesterday? Anyone who watched the debate saw that the President swiped Romney and Romney had nothing to say. 

5 point plan that was what Romney was talking about all the time yesterday and nothing else made sense. The only thing Romney did was agreeing with Obama and trying to hack on Obamas personal life, which in my opinion shows weakness and insecure. That is not what America is looking for, America is looking for a strong leader that can find solutions and lead the country. 

Overall I liked the debate and I liked the questions about international students. Obama is trying to give international students with perfect grades or perfect skills the opportunity to get a green card easy, and I strongly agree with him and hope this is one thing that will happen in this country.
